Wedge Absolute Real-time Protection (WedgeARP™)
Wedge Absolute Real-time Protection (WedgeARP™) is transforming the way security solutions are being delivered to all network-connected computing devices, thus enabling threat prevention with scalability, flexibility, performance and accuracy for all customers.
The WedgeARP™ platform utilizes Wedge’s Patented Deep Content Inspection (DCI) Engine, that fully reconstructs content while data is in transit on the network and enables endpoint level visibility at the network layer, and traditional Deep Packet Inspection (DPI).
Combined with this visibility, WedgeARP™ incorporates an open service bus and orchestrated hyper-streaming, enabling multi-thread processing of a wide range of current and future security virtual network functions (VNFs)- security services such as anti-malware, anti-spam, data leakage protection, etc. – that can be seamlessly plugged into the offering. This means that the product can optimize the use of all available computing resources for carrying out these security services; allowing multiple services to be run concurrently on the reconstructed data, eliminating bottlenecks that would occur from running the services sequentially. With the open service bus, WedgeARP™ can offer “EverGreen” security, enabling the introduction of new security services as they are developed on the market.
Wedge Advanced Malware Blocker (WedgeAMB™)
WedgeAMB™ is an application of WedgeARP™ tailored for the MSSPs to serve the enterprise cyber security market.
It combines highly accurate five-stage scanning along with an additional Malware Analyzer grayware analysis service in order to provide the most accurate and effective anti-malware protection available.
- Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) scanning provides protection against worms and other port level threats.
- An hourly updated web reputation engine that can detect malware spreading websites Signature-based and Heuristic-based anti-malware block against all known and similar viruses and malware.
- AI-based anti-malware (AIAV) analyzes key executables and uses deep learning / artificial intelligence to block never-before-seen malware.
- The optional Wedge Malware Analyzer (MAAV) detonates and blocks any grayware that is detected by the previous scans and further characterizes it as either safe or malicious.
